Terms of Service

Services

HansiTech provides web design, development, SEO, branding, and digital marketing services to clients in Whitehorse, Yukon and across Canada. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for each engagement are defined in a separate project agreement or proposal provided to you before work begins.

We reserve the right to decline any project at our sole discretion.

Payment Terms

All projects require a 50% deposit before work begins. The remaining balance is due upon project completion and before the final website is transferred or made live. For ongoing retainer services (SEO, maintenance, hosting), payment is due monthly in advance.

Invoices unpaid after 14 days may result in suspension of services. Accounts unpaid after 30 days may be subject to a 1.5% monthly late fee.

Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of final payment, you own all custom design and code created specifically for your project. Third-party assets (fonts, stock photos, plugins, frameworks) remain subject to their respective licenses, which we will document for you.

HansiTech retains the right to display completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing.

Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate content, images, branding materials, and feedback in a timely manner. Delays caused by late client feedback may affect the project timeline and could result in additional charges if the project scope changes materially.

You represent that all content you provide to us does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.

Revisions & Scope Changes

Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds as specified in your project agreement. Requests beyond the agreed scope will be quoted separately and require written approval before work proceeds.

Significant changes in project direction after work has begun may require a revised project agreement.

Hosting & Maintenance

If HansiTech manages your hosting or maintenance, we will make reasonable efforts to ensure uptime and security. However, we do not guarantee 100% uptime and are not liable for losses due to server outages, third-party service failures, or circumstances outside our control.

You may cancel hosting or maintenance services with 30 days written notice.

Limitation of Liability

HansiTech's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Yukon Territory and Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Whitehorse, Yukon. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
